Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?
I wore the beautiful Nicholas ‘Rosie Lace Dress’ for my 30th Birthday in Melbourne. I wanted to wear not only a stunning designer dress, but something that was a little bit different & fun. This was the perfect party dress!
What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?
I’ve had my eye on this stunning dress for a while, but felt that because it’s such a statement piece, I would only wear it once. So decided it was the perfect dress to hire for my 30th Birthday!
Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?
Nicholas always produces feminine & flattering dresses. I knew that I wanted something fun, but also something comfortable. My birthday was a ladies lunch, with drinks to follow. So this dress was perfect for the occasion.
Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time? For your first time renting a dress, what made you consider it?
Yes, I have rented several dresses before. I realised that I was buying beautiful designer dresses, and only wearing them once. Renting gives you the opportunity to wear stunning designer dresses, at a fraction of the price of buying the dress.

I discovered GlamCorner on Instagram. I was looking to hire a particular Alice McCall dress, and stumbled across GlamCorner. The dress I was searching for appeared on their page, so I hired it and had a great first experience using their service!
