Tell us about the special occasion you had and why you wanted to wear a designer dress for it?

On the weekend, I had good friends of mine and my partners engagement party. The party was only at her parents house, however knowing this couple they wouldn’t have spared a cent in making sure the party was spectacular. I wanted to rent a designer dress because I knew how glamorous the party would be & wanted to feel like I fit in and feel glamorous too. And I certainly did.

What was it about this occasion that made renting a dress so appealing for you?

On this occasion besides the reasons above, I recently had a baby and him now being 4 months old I was finally ready to leave him at home with my mum and head out for a night without him. I wanted to feel good and look good after just having a baby so renting an amazing dress was the perfect option to make that possible. I guess a lot of mums never feel quite as happy with they way they look after having a baby and I fall into that category but with this dress I felt better than I ever have. The website makes it really easy for you to get the right size with the sizing measurements as long as you know your measurements. The dress fit me perfectly!!

Tell us about the dress and the designer label you chose, and why you chose it?

I’ve seen the Asilio ‘Object Of Desire Dress’ on a few of my favourite fashion bloggers – Bec Judd & Nadia Bartel!
Since seeing this dress on them, I have wanted to purchase it many times. But being a person that feels they can’t ever wear the same thing twice & not really being able to justify spending $600 on something I might only wear once I just couldn’t buy it. I googled dress hire just to see what was out there and how much hiring a designer dress would cost and when I came across GlamCorner all my fashion dreams came true!!

Have you rented a dress before or was this your first time?

This was the first dress I rented. I have also rented a fascinator from GlamCorner for the spring racing carnival. Which I was also stoked with. As I said above, I just thought I’d have a look at what it cost to rent a designer dress and when I googled it I stumbled across GlamCorner. I looked at a few different sites but GlamCorner was hands down the best. I spent so much time looking through all the different dresses they have for rent. I loved having so many options. I’m a very social person and we have so many engagements/weddings/birthdays in our group of friends and I can’t afford to purchase a new dress for every occasion so renting dresses has become my new favourite thing.

Tell us about how you first discovered GlamCorner?

I just googled dress hire, and it was the second site that I looked at but it was definitely the best site. Great designers, so many dresses and for such an affordable price. LOVE!

How was you overall experience with GC (online and offline) and would you recommend us to other women?

Overall, as you can probably tell from the above I love GlamCorner. The dresses come in beautiful packaging and make you excited to open. They send you a text msg to remind you to send back, and there is always info inside the package about what to do if you’re not happy with your order. If you’re anything like me and love shopping, looking fabulous and don’t like wearing the same thing twice then GC is the place to go to make it happen. Yes, I recommend GC to everyone!
