I'm so pleased with my choice to rent this dress for a mid-afternoon event last week. I felt feminine with a touch of whimsy and the fine, gold pinstripes added a little bit of glitz, especially as the afternoon turned into early evening. The dress floated just on my ankles with 9cm heels - I'm 5'6. I am normally close to a true size 12 (DD busted), however, as the size 12 was unavailable, I decided to order the 14 which turned out to be the perfect fit, particularly around the bust.

I rented this dress to wear for weekend brunch or midweek casual dinner. It is a gorgeous piece and flattering for a large bust and broad shoulders with a small waist. It is pretty enough to wear for a more formal evening or wedding. With the size 12 my main issue was that it fitted beautifully in the waist, ribs and hips but the bust was too baggy and the straps too long, causing it to gape and droop, despite me being an E cup (DD on a good day)with a fairly athletic back. I would have needed at least a cm taken in on each side and 2.5 cm off each strap. A bit of clever pinning saved the day. On the bright side, despite the strappy back, the dress it well structured for a strapless bra for support.
